The Venue Advisors

How to find the right wedding venue in France

Start by settling four things: the region, the budget, the number of guests and how many people need to sleep on site. Everything else follows, and it is what saves you from contacting thirty properties when twenty-five do not fit.

Four decisions before you look at a single photograph

A wedding venue is not chosen from an image. Settle your region, your budget, your guest count and how many people need beds on site. Those four numbers alone rule out three quarters of the properties, and save you weeks.

Every region tells a different story

Provence, the Dordogne, Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Loire Valley, the South of France: styles and budgets are not comparable from one destination to the next. A Périgord estate and a Provençal mas of identical capacity do not carry the same price, and do not attract the same guests.

Search by availability, not only by style

Most directories list venues. They do not tell you which are free on your date. Here, owners open their own dates: you see what is genuinely left, with the price asked, and you request a visit or a date directly.
