About the venue
Château La Chutelière is a beautifully restored medieval château dating from the early 16th century, later enhanced with an elegant Renaissance façade. Set within approximately 9.5 hectares of private grounds in the Deux-Sèvres countryside, the château combines genuine historic character with spacious, comfortable accommodation.
The property offers 860 m² of living space, seven bedrooms and extensive reception rooms, including an exceptional 273 m² gallery on the upper floor. Original architectural features include limestone floors, stonework, historic details and the château’s surrounding moat. Outside are mature gardens, woodland, meadows, an orchard, vegetable gardens, a wrought-iron greenhouse, swimming pool, jacuzzi and a small river running through the estate.
Its scale, privacy and exceptional spaces make it particularly suited to exclusive weddings, intimate destination celebrations and private events. The château is offered for exclusive use, providing complete privacy and flexibility to create a celebration that is entirely your own. The extensive grounds and historic interiors offer a range of possibilities for ceremonies, dining, drinks receptions and photographs, while the château provides accommodation for up to 12 guests.
The secluded setting provides a distinctive backdrop while remaining conveniently located around 30 minutes from Poitiers, with access to the airport and TGV connections to Paris.
