About the venue

Located less than an hour from Paris, on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, between Yvelines and Eure-et-Loir, the Domaine de la Thibaudière, a magnificent 17th-century manor house, will host you to celebrate your most beautiful day. While retaining its authentic character, the estate has been completely renovated and features a sublime collection of art and contemporary design that enhances the exceptional nature of the venue.

In total, the estate spans 4 hectares, freely accessible. The Domaine has a majestic barn for dinner, equipped and soundproofed. It measures 190 m² and is 9 meters high, with a seating capacity of 160 guests.

For your cocktail reception, the Domaine de la Thibaudière welcomes you either in the honor courtyard at the center of the farm, on the terrace with a countryside view, on the pool terrace, or, if you prefer or if conditions require, inside the manor in a spacious warm area, with a bar and fireplace, directly connected to the terraces.

The ceremony can take place in the sun in the square courtyard or in the shade of a weeping willow. In case of bad weather, another more intimate barn can also host it, offering you several options! Just a few hundred meters away, the stunning 13th-century Saint Rémy church, a place of grace and serenity, can officiate your union, or the church of Nogent le Roi, 6 kilometers away, in a different style.

The day after your wedding, the Domaine de la Thibaudière will offer you a brunch space where you can organize a friendly lunch by the pool in the shade of the willows, on the panoramic terrace, or on the grass in the honor courtyard.

Accommodations and suites for your guests

With its 16 carefully renovated rooms and all modern comforts, 57 of your guests can stay on-site and fully enjoy the venue before, during, and after the ceremony. You will feel like you are hosting family and friends as if it were your own home. 4 tents with 4 sleeping spaces each from May 1st to the end of September will allow you to keep a total of 73 people close to you.

Other facilities

In addition to the heated pool from April to September, the Domaine has a sauna area for adults the day after celebrations. You will also have access to a large football field, badminton court, pétanque court, ping-pong table, etc., and inside, a foosball table and a wide selection of games for young and old. The Domaine is equipped with a connected defibrillator and a first aid kit.

Unique history and setting

In the 12th century, the abbey of Coulombs was administered by 2 abbots, each named Thibault. The seigniorial fief of La Thibaudière depended on the abbey of Coulombs, which paid homage to the abbots Thibault. La Thibaudière was part of the Coulombs estates until 1789. The departmental archives of Eure-et-Loir contain writings attesting to its administrative existence from 1667 and a song that shows that as early as the 17th century, the parties at La Thibaudière were quite successful!
